Hello everyone! My blog centers around my journey in the Educational Technology classroom. My name is Mollie Abell, and I am from Sparta, Tennessee. I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and UT Volunteers fan. I have played multiple sports since I was little and recently ran and finished my first half marathon. I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee, majoring in English and minoring in English as a Second Language and Secondary Education. I aspire to be a teacher overseas and to motivate students to want to learn!
In the Educational Technology class, I hope to learn about various technological materials that could assist me in my future classroom. Since technology use in the classroom is escalating, I hope to be prepared when I begin my teaching experience. In this course, I am excited to be exposed to multiple facets that are being used in classrooms everywhere. I feel that no one wants to appear like a rookie when using technology, so I am excited for this learning experience and mastering different sites/apps/etc.
